Welcome to Dartmoor Mountain Bike Hire
You can hire mountain bikes and accessories from CRS Adventures at the River Dart Country Park. We also offer trips and training with qualified instructors in the Dartmoor National Park where there are loads of great tracks, trails and quiet lanes. We have brand new Trek 4300 bikes of all sizes to suit adults and children alike. The bikes and accessories can be rented for only £15 per bike per day. You can collect then from the CRS reception any time from 9am, and they do not need to be returned until 9am the following day. We also have trailers and tag-alongs available. With the bike you will also receive: A repair kit, a pump, a water bottle and a map of cycle trails in the local area. What Size Bike Do I Need?
Standing flat footed on the ground, you should have a minimum of 3" clearance between yourself and the top tube of the frame. A simple calculation can be used to estimate your required frame size if you are not able to sit astride a bike to measure. Measure your inside leg measurement to the floor, add 3" then subtract 10" (the average distance from the bottom bracket to the ground). This will give you the maximum frame size that you will need.
