Who we are

CRS Adventures is a family run outdoor activities centre run by the Sell family that has an established reputation as the place to go for all your adventurous activity needs. We specialise in a variety of traditional ‘outdoor activities‘ as well as specialist programmes for individuals, families, schools, youth groups and corporate events and offer tailor made packages for both on and off site activities. What we do – Outdoor Activities

Geographically we are in the best location in the South West to offer a range of seasonal outdoor activities. These include kayaking, canoeing, climbing, caving, walking, and mountain biking. We also have an extensive selection of on-site tree-top activities including a very large high ropes course. We run a number of additional activities such as the summer daredevils, a winter intensive instructor training programme, outdoor management development, corporate adventure training and experience-based training and development.

Where we are

We are based at the River Dart Country Park in Ashburton, Devon at the heart of Dartmoor on the banks of the River Dart. With 90 acres of private parkland including onsite lakes and tree-top activities our location is unrivalled in our area.

CRS Adventures is based at the Park and is open every day except Christmas for visitors to enjoy. Set in 90 acres, with lakes, parkland and woods with the majestic River Dart flowing through the Park it is the ideal place to stay or visit. Children can run and play on our Pirate Ship lake and Adventure Playgrounds and our on-site facilities available for everyone.

The Touring and Camping site is open from Easter to the end of September and all guests have free entry to River Dart Adventures.

Clare Sell Cert Ed, APIOL – Managing Director

Clare and husband Roger own and run CRS Adventures together and a make formidable team. Clare’s professional attitude and warm personality, backed by her extensive experience make her a first class instructor. Clare’s qualifications include: Kayaking, canoeing, moorland walking, caving, orienteering, team tasks, white water rafting, rock climbing and many more.

Roger Sell Cert Ed, APIOL – Managing Director

Roger is the co-owner of CRS Adventures with his wife Clare. A professional and personable individual, he has worked within the outdoor adventure industry for many years. Roger’s qualifications as an instructor include: Kayaking, canoeing, moorland walking, caving, power boating, orienteering, team tasks, white water rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking and many more.

Adam Habasinski – Chief Instructor

Adam started his career as an outdoor instructor after graduating as the top student of his year from Bicton College. He has loved being in the outdoors since a young age and enjoys passing on his skills and knowledge to others. He is a keen mountain biker and has ridden throughout the UK and Europe. He also enjoys surfing, canoeing and kayaking.
